“Having personally worked with your company for more than 20 years, I have never been disappointed and will continue to enjoy this “local” and expert help in the audio/visual field and gladly recommend them to my colleagues and friends.”   -Charlie Price (Audio/Visual Foreman)

When Campbell was in the process of designing Butler Chapel, Charlie asked us to help him design the Audio/Visual System.  For the mixing console we decided to specify a 32 channel Allen & Heath GL3800.  This mixer was chosen because like all GL series it has great sounding Pre-Amps, EQ’s with two sweepable mids, and flexible routing.  In our opinion the GL series is the best bang for your buck in that class of mixers.

For ultimate clarity and reliablility in wireless microphones we used Shure’s SLX Series seen at the top left of the picture below.

The system processor used for Butler Chapel is a DBX DriveRack 260.

The Main loudspeakers are two Yamaha IF series 12″ 2-way mains and two single 18″ subs all flown from the ceiling.  Rear fill speakers are JBL Control 25′s set on a time delay.  For choir monitors we used JBL Control 29AV’s.

The camera system is based on several Vaddio WallView 70′s, an Edirol V8 Switcher, Tote vision LCD preview monitors and a FSR MAS6200 to control video signal routing and scaling.

For the Projection System we used a Eiki LC XL200 (6000 lumens) with a long throw lens.  The screen is hidden inside the organ chamber housing (located in the pic below right under the organ pipes) to maintain the immaculately kept interior.
